    The Data Anayltics Manager is responsible for overseeing the activities of data architecture, warehousing, reporting, analytics, dash boards, visualization, and predictive analytics. This position is responsible for creating the overall strategy and vision for the data, analytics, and reporting services at TDS including daily team operations, resource planning and managing the health of the services in order to meet the demands and expectations of the user community. The Data Analytics Manager partners with leadership and technical teams to ensure effective delivery of data and analytics services to customers across the TDS enterprise. In addition, this position oversees the flow of data throughout the organization; ensures data integrity, comprehensiveness, and data currency.


    The Data Analytics Manager owns and assumes accountability for all aspects of the services provided by the Business Intelligence Team.  This includes accurately defining the associated services, creating and maintaining service roadmaps, managing relationships (stakeholders, staff and vendors), delivering the service, and advocating for the services.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field –OR– 4+ years equivalent combination of technical and functional experience required.
    • 7+ years experience in a related IT position; Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Warehousing preferred.
    • Proficient technical & functional experience with SAP, Oracle, SQL, or similar systems.

    Other Qualifications:

    • Team leadership and/or supervisory experience preferred. Effective team building skills supporting productive relationships; accepts abilities of team members and peers, and creates positive situations and effective solutions. 
    • The ability to set goals, plan objectives, organize daily activities, and utilize problem resolution skills.
    • Knowledge of SAP, SAP BW, and Data Warehouse construction including design, architecture, and functionality preferred.
    • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with co-workers, business unit end users, team management, and business unit management.
    • Professional interpersonal skills that allow the ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise judgment, and display diplomacy while interacting with others, particularly enterprise business unit resources and leadership.
    • Accountable and committed to follow through with activities, provide regular feedback, and exercise diligence in completing work activities.
