The Accounting Support Intern will provide operational support of business objectives in Accounts Payable.  The intern seeks to understand, helps define, and recommend change to existing processes, systems and applications to meet our current and future business needs.  Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to; processing invoices, payments to suppliers, OCR corrections, data analytics, and preparing operational reports.


*Please note this is a year round internship working 15-25 hours/week during the academic year starting this fall and ideally continuing on through the following summer.*


Core office hours are 7:45am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday.  Start and end dates are flexible. This position will be located at our Madison, WI office working a hybrid schedule; however, remote work will also be considered. 


Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing BS, BA, or Associates degree in accounting, finance, business or related field
  • Completion of one or more semesters of accounting, finance, business or related coursework

  • High energy and willingness to learn new things to advance the work of the team and objectives of the organization
  • Strong technical aptitude, particularly in the development of Excel spreadsheets
  • Aptitude to comprehend new information, identify issues and problems and research and recommend a resolution
  • Ability to complete routine processing with attention to detail and accuracy
