TDS Inc., a Fortune 1000 national technology and communications company, has a great opportunity for IT Business Systems Analyst (BSA) Interns. Duration and Work Schedule
This internship is full-time (40 hrs/week) from May through August 2023; start and end dates are flexible. There may be an opportunity to stay on part-time during the 2023-2024 academic year depending on course schedule and business needs.
This position can work remotely in any of the states in which TDS Inc. operates. And, depending on location, we are also open to an in-office or a hybrid work model.
What opportunities do these internships offer?
As an IT BSA Intern you will be provided challenging work, mentorship by subject matter experts in a variety of technical areas, and the opportunity to partner with a diverse team.
This position will work on either or our Supply Chain or IT Strategy & Delivery: Project Management team. The intern will assist in developing and supporting business processes and applications that meet or exceed the needs of our business units. The IT BSA Intern partners with customers to understand their needs and is responsible for developing, supporting, and configuring applications. This internship also assists with functional oversight for custom software development and documents system requirements.
The IT BSA Intern - Supply Chain will support the Supply Chain Management team on enterprise-wide projects. You will partner with a seasoned team and take on responsibilities in business systems analysis, technology research, documentation and more. This internship will offer a great opportunity to gain an understanding of the Supply Chain process as it pertains to the backend IT systems.
The IT BSA Intern on our IT Strategy and Delivery: Project Management team will be working side by side with our Portfolio Manager and Project Managers to help our IT organization in cultivating our project portfolio. The IT BSA Intern assists with crucial tasks related to work requests coming into our portfolio, through the active lifecycle of the project. This includes analyzing project data, auditing active project reporting, and working with Service Owners and Project Managers on understanding the processes and metrics required throughout the life of a project. The IT BSA Intern will also have the opportunity to shadow project managers on specific projects of interest and assist with tasks that contribute to the success of the project.
