Responsibilities

Job Summary:

This role operates a duplicator press to meet or exceed customer expectations with regard to quality, cost and timely delivery. The position requires the Operator to be detail orientated and have a strong mechanical aptitude.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and follow direction from a work ticket
  • Press make ready and set up
  • Achieve and monitor color for consistency, pull time stamps 
  • Follow daily press schedule to meet delivery dates
  • Meet or exceed estimated standards
  • Participate in maintenance programs and assist with mechanical repairs to ensure quality products, track and log items and repairs
  • Collaborate with fellow team members to develop and improve processes
  • Develop ways to improve efficiencies and throughput

Qualifications

Skills, Educational & Physical Requirements:

  • Prior commercial print shop experience a plus
  • High School education or equivalent professional experience
  • Basic math skills
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work in a fast paced production environment
  • Ability to work well with co-workers in a team environment
  • Ability to operate computer based technology
  • Constant standing and/or walking
  • Manual dexterity
  • Frequently lift up to 10 lbs.
  • Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Frequently squat or kneel
  • Frequently bend
